Honey, a sweet and simple little pleasure that I cannot get enough of. I love adding it to recipes whenever I can. It’s such an easy way to add a hint of sweetness without using those harmful artificial sweeteners and processed sugars that cover our store shelves. Not only does it add the perfect hint of flavor to desserts, entrees and yummy snacks, but it also is fantastic for your skin. Before I was sick I had no idea how harmful those artificial sweeteners really were since they’re marketed to be “better” for you. It turns out, they’re actually even worse for you! That’s ok though, once I became educated with how our food system is run and once I learned how to detox my life and beauty routine, I learned just how much I truly loved being all-natural and healthy. Honey is the definition of pure, raw and natural since it’s made by bees using the nectar from flowers. How sweet is that?!

I absolutely love how great it is for your skin. Here are some benefits of honey that you need to know:
Helps fight acne
Diminishes scars
All-natural moisturizer
Can be used to remove hair
Aids in the anti-aging process
Softens and smooths hair
